Is there or will there be a non-photorealistic nXt for Revit?  This would be helpful in some types of client relations?

Right now there is no such product. We are not working on one.

We were able to do it in SketchUp by adding on to and using tools that already existed in Sketchup.

Any chance that you could export to SketchUp and use NprTools there?

Maybe, is NprTools part of my nXt for Revit or Autocad 2012 (I've both)? Haven't tried sketchup; can the program import a Revit model?

No, NprTools is a separate program we sell to SketchUp users, specifically for Non-Photorealist renderings.

See: http://www.renderplus.com/wk/NprTools_w.htm

SketchUp doesn't import Revit Drawings. It does import DWGs, but it doesn't get the materials from Revit or AutoCAD at all that way, or even a way to get the color by material.

It would be nice if we wrote an Export Revit to SketchUp routine...that would import the materials into SketchUp. Also an AutoCad to SketchUp routine would be nice.

Comfy Lounge

Model, A Comfy Lounge, by Surya Murali from 3D Warehouse. I added HDRi background, set wattage of interior lights, and added reflection to mirror, vase and floor. 124 passes in Packet Mode, 1 1/2 hours rendering time.
